Products and services

VERMES Microdispensing, world leader in the design and manufacture of innovative microdispensing concepts and systems offers several product families for adhesives, silicones, greases, solvents and other fluids dispensing.
VERMES Micro Dispensing Systems of the MDS 3000 series are based on piezo technology. They dispense low, medium and high viscous media contact free and with the highest speed and precision and drop sizes as small as 0.4 nl.
The newest invention is the MDS 1500 series, which is based on the worldwide patented DST - Dynamic Shockwave Technology of VERMES Microdispensing.
DST stands for a revolutionary actuator principle. As a result, extraordinary power and precision can be achieved even at the smallest strokes.

VERMES Microdispensing - MDS 1560 - powered by DST

The MDS 1560 is the first system solution that is based on the new DST technology. As a result, extraordinary power and precision can be achieved even at the smallest strokes. It is suitable for liquids, ranging from aqueous solutions to solder paste. The system is used in electronic production, e.g. sealing of LCD screens, solder paste dispensing onto PCBs, mobile phone adhesive applications. The valve is kept at perfect temperature and ideal viscosity conditions for the dispensing media.

DST - Dynamic Shockwave Technology

Dynamic Shockwave Technology (DST) stands for a revolutionary actuator principle. Through optimized channel guidance and configuration of the compression geometries, a shock wave is generated in the actuator, which is converted into a highly dynamic linear movement due to the special piston area. As a result, extraordinary power and precision can be achieved even at the smallest strokes.

VERMES Microdispensing launches its next generation Hot Melt System Solution offeringhighest process accuracy and application flexibility

The next generation Hot Melt System Solution from VERMES Microdispensing offers multiple options for most
complex dispensing patterns with precise droplet break-off that ensure ultra-thin lines and beads at highest
dispensing speeds. The advanced solution achieves extremely rapid dispense cycles with uniformly distributed
adhesives resulting in improved end product yields.
“A large hot melt dispensing market is the electronics sector ever-smaller electronic devices, gadgets,
smartphone components and high precision molded components. Typical applications require line widths
between 200-500 μm and high levels of accuracy and consistency,” states Juergen Staedtler, CEO of VERMES
Microdispensing.
VERMES Microdispensing’s Hot Melt Solution offers superior process control and accuracy that is required in
high-tech automated production operations.
The Hot Melt Solution which is based on the high-speed jet valve MDV 3250+ is designed for a broad range of
hot melt types, including the widely used PURs (Polyurethane hot melt. It complements the unique heating
concept by VERMES Microdispensing that offers customized heating solutions for high and highest viscous
applications.
The heating solutions are designed to perfectly coordinate with the dispensing process accomplishing
significantly improved precision, drop reproducibility and performance.
The integrated cartridge heater of the new Hot Melt System Solution continuously heats the hot melt to its
melting point ensuring highest process stability. During the entire process the temperature is precisely monitored
by the MFC universal, a multifunctional heating controller of VERMES Microdispensing.
The modular and flexible design of the VERMES Microdispensing solutions allows for the systems to be easily
and individually configured. The user can choose from a range of equipment for different flow rates and
viscosities.

VERMES Microdispensing presents its modular, highly flexible MDS 3280 Micro DispensingSystem for optimum adaptation to media and thus highest dispensing quality

The MDS 3280 offers a host of advanced features that enhance dispensing performance and provide significant
benefits to the user.
The contact-free, precise media allocation allows fastest cycle times. Fluidic part uncoupled from the valve drive
reduces maintenance costs.
The MDS 3280 is characterized by its new valve design ensuring highest performance, cost-effective productivity
and excellent dispensing results with uniform and reproducible droplets. It is suitable for the exact application of a
wide range of media, such as SMT adhesives, silver conductive adhesives, LED phosphors, underfill materials,
as well as silicones, conductive glue or solder pastes and hot melts.
The ability to dispense droplets of less than 150 μm in diameter on the substrate with exceptional consistency
and repeatability and shortest cycle times simultaneously improves throughput and reduces production costs.
The VERMES Piezojet valve MDV 3280 is equipped with a setting technology called "Top Adjust" and allows a
quick and comfortable configuration and perfect and free pairing of nozzle insert and tappet. Parameter settings
can be quickly and easily changed during operation. This allows the system to rapidly adjust to changing
conditions such as variations in material viscosity, modifications of dispensing patterns and the application of
different dispensing quantities.
The innovative connector technology which uncouples the fluidic part - named VERMES "Bayonet Fluid Box
Body" - from the actual valve body, ensures flexible coupling between these two parts. This allows easy handling
and quick cleaning since the screw-less Fluid Box Body can be removed from the valve drive with one-click.
This new, unique design makes the media supply rotatable and the very compact and lightweight valve can be
perfectly adapted to a variety of tasks including the desired dispensing direction. It enables fast and seamless
integration into the most inaccessible or confined spaces. When implementing complex applications, this saves
valuable time and reduces set-up costs within fully automated microdispensing production processes. The tappet
can be changed while the valve remains in its operating position, avoiding difficult part replacement and critical
service outages.
The nozzle heater is integrated in the Fluid Box Body and keeps it constantly at optimum temperature without
taking up much space. Due to the continuous temperature control and the control of the material pressure, the
dispensing quality remains absolutely constant until the cartridge / container has been emptied.

VERMES Microdispensing unveils DST - Dynamic Shockwave Technology

Dynamic Shockwave Technology (DST) stands for a revolutionary actuator principle. Through optimized channel guidance and configuration of the compression geometries, a shock wave is generated in the actuator, which is converted into a highly dynamic linear movement due to the special piston area. As a result, extraordinary power and precision can be achieved even at the smallest strokes. These features make the DST principle perfectly suitable for its use in jet valves and the dispensing device achieves superior system performance, especially for highly viscous and difficult to dispense media. DST has already been patented worldwide by VERMES Microdispensing and will be integrated into the Micro Dispensing Systems - MDS 1500 series.
The new VERMES Microdispensing system MDS 1560 is the first system solution of the MDS 1500 series that is based on the new DST technology. The MDS 1560 ensures that the actual pressure value is continuously self-adjusted and a perfectly to the medium adapted tappet speed is achieved. The system can always be operated with the optimum tappet speed, adjusted to the chosen dispensing medium. The MDS 1560 micro dispensing system is therefore suitable for a very wide range of liquids of various viscosities, ranging from aqueous solutions to solder paste.
