Vitralit® UD 8050 is a one-component acrylic adhesive, which can be used as an encapsulant to protect electronic components on PCBs. Vitralit® UD 8050 can be cured with uv or visible light. Moisture postcuring ensures full cure in shadowed areas or deeper layers of the adhesive, which cannot be reached by light. By default, the adhesive is transparent, but it is also available in blue or fluorescing versions. Other colors are available on request.
Structalit® 8801 is a single-component adhesive based on epoxy resin. Due to its viscosity characteristics it is perfectly suited as a potting or filling material. It develops high bond strength with ceramics, metals and many plastics. For example, Structalit® 8801 is successfully being used as a potting compound for sensors in medtech devices.Structalit® 8801 cures very quickly at low oven temperatures. At 100°C this adhesive will fully cure in only a few minutes.
Panacol developed a new optically clear adhesive: Vitralit® 50004. The new adhesive is a one-component UV curable acrylic adhesive with ultra-low viscosity, which is used for bonding displays and laminating optics.Vitralit® 50004 adheres specifically to a variety of substrates including coated glass, PET and other plastics and films. Once cured, Vitralit® 50004 is very soft. Thermal stresses between dissimilar substrates can be neutralized without causing delamination.
