VDMA – Electronics, Micro and Nano Technologies

The VDMA Sector Association “Electronics, Micro and Nano Technologies (EMINT)” represents the entire process chain of electronics and micro-nano production, including flat panel displays. 75 of its 110 members, organized in the “Productronics” Sector Group, offer machines, equipment, materials, and components enabling the production of a wide variety of electronics such as semiconductors, printed circuit boards, surface mount technology, data storage, flat panel displays, LEDs, photovoltaics, and energy storage. On the other hand, the “Organic Electronics Association (OE-A)” is the leading international industry association for organic and printed electronics, including OLED displays, with 230 members and worldwide membership. Our association services range from market and technology information, networking and consultation all the way to global support and advocacy for our members.
The German Engineering Federation VDMA, our umbrella organization, represents more than 3,100 mainly small/medium size member companies in the engineering industry. Founded in 1892, it is one of the largest and most important industry associations in Europe. With over one million employees in Germany and an annual turnover of 212 billion Euros in 2014 mechanical engineering is one of the biggest employers and one of the leading industry sectors in Germany as a whole.
